The highly anticipated Code Samurai 2024 event concluded with grand success. It brings together tech enthusiasts and industry leaders for two days of learning, collaboration, and celebration. The event was held at the CSE Auditorium and Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, Dhaka University, and showcased the remarkable talent and ingenuity of participants from across the region.

The event was held at the CSE Auditorium and Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, Dhaka University, and showcased the remarkable talent and ingenuity of participants from across the region.


The opening ceremony on Friday, May 10, 2024, set the stage for an exhilarating journey ahead. Attendees were treated to insightful presentations by platinum and gold sponsors, including MASS Holdings, Syslabo, ZENET, and LightcafeU. Co., Ltd., and GCC Inc. Esteemed guests, including Professor Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, Chairman of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka, and [Mr. Russell T. Ahmed, President of the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS)], delivered inspiring addresses, emphasizing the importance of innovation in driving technological advancement.


The ceremony also featured a Certificate of Offer Awarding Ceremony, recognizing outstanding contributions to the tech industry. Dr. Hafiz Md. Hasan Babu, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Dhaka, delivered closing remarks, setting the stage for the coming days.


The event saw 46 finalist teams advancing to the grand finale, each showcasing their coding skills. In a thrilling competition, DEFINE CODERS from SUST emerged as the CHAMPION TEAM, showcasing exceptional skills and innovation. DU_PROMETHEUS secured the title of 1st Runner-Up, while DU_DILIGENCE claimed the 2nd Runner-Up position, demonstrating their dedication and talent.


The closing ceremony was held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban, Dhaka University. The ceremony featured captivating performances, including a magician act by Mr. Shoot Ogawa. It was followed by addresses from industry leaders and dignitaries, including Mr Mehedi Masud, COO of BJIT, and Rear Admiral A.A. Mamun Chowdhury, Chairman of Payra Port Authority.


The highlight of the evening was the announcement of results and prize-giving, where participants were recognized for their outstanding achievements. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Upama Kabir, Convenor of Code Samurai 2024, followed by an official photo session and dinner.
