On the 15th of July, BJIT hosted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and celebrated its strategic collaboration with Marubeni Corporation.

 

The AGM was attended by esteemed shareholders, board members, the management team, and employees. During the event, remarkable achievements and strategic initiatives were showcased by the Board members and department heads, highlighting the company's continued growth and success.

 

JM Akbar, the CEO, and Chairman (Founder of BJIT Group), presented innovative projects that have led to increased profits and market share. Interactive discussions during the AGM provided valuable insights and suggestions for the future, unveiling the grand vision to onboard 1,000 talented minds by year-end and 10,000 in the next ten years. Furthermore, BJIT revealed its plans for global expansion into the US and European markets.

 

The second part of BJIT Day featured the celebration of the collaboration ceremony with Marubeni, following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on April 27th. The ceremony was graced by Masayuki Omoto, CDIO & COO of Next Generation Business Development Div., Manabu Sugawara, General Manager of Marubeni Dhaka Office, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, ICT Minister of Bangladesh and Prof. Upama Kabir, Convenor, Code Samurai, Dhaka University.
