The 17th BASIS SoftExpo, the largest Regional Technology Congress is going to be held on 23-26 February 2023 at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center (BBCFEC), Purbachal, in the capital.

 

 "Welcome to the Smartverse,"


This year, that's the theme of BASIS SoftExpo 2023, as the country has taken a great leap in the Digital Wave, BASIS is organizing to show the world Bangladesh's latest technological innovations and ICT capabilities.

 

The four-day exposition is the perfect opportunity to showcase the capacity of Bangladesh’s information technology sector. This will be highlighted through various programs in this largest information technology exhibition for creating more collaborative relationships at the national and international levels, inviting trade delegations from different countries to experience the immense potential of the Bangladeshi ICT industry. 

 

According to the organizers, the expo will be attended by ICT companies, personalities, key policymakers, industry leaders, and other ICT stakeholders. There will also be business leaders' meetings, a corporate hour, an ICT career camp, a gaming festival, and a business-to-business matchmaking session, including a special session for exploring business in Japan.

 

Bangladesh Japan Information Technology (BJIT) has constantly supported and pushed for improvements in the tech scene of Bangladesh and helped engineers break through various barriers. BJIT’s efforts have been integral in helping Bangladesh come into the 21st century as a country that is capable of meeting the technological challenges that form the foundations of the modern world. 

 

BJIT drives an innovation-led approach to help clients with industry-specific solutions to transform their IT program, and Japan Day program. More than 800 corporate executives are expected to attend the "Business Leaders Meet." Besides, more than 23 seminars and technical sessions will be held at BASIS SoftExpo 2023. There are various events and facilities for visitors, including knowledge-sharing sessions, cultural programs, a music festival, a business lounge, and so on.

 

About three lakh visitors, including government and private policymakers, 200 national and international speakers, IT experts, IT sector businessmen, foreign delegations, domestic and foreign IT users, and interested young students, will visit BASIS SoftExpo 2023. Approximately 10 lakh young generations are expected to be interested this year through social media, and efforts are being made to engage 50 university students. Like every year, IT professionals will come from the country and abroad.
